Senior Rugby Values
Enjoyment. Team. Recognition. Give Back
The Senior rugby players represent club members who have been involved in rugby for a number of years, and are leaders and role models to both Youth and Mini rugby. They represent the club on a weekly basis – on and off of the position. They work for and support each other. Some Senior players will be interested in coaching younger teams, or taking on refereeing roles.
Enjoyment. Team. Respect. Friendship
Youth rugby players typically have been involved with rugby for 4-6 years, and have developed the core skills of the game. These players are starting to learn and advocate the core values of Team and Respect, whilst also striving for increased competition and in some cases higher honours. These players need more from their coaches and the challenge for the coach is to keep these young men and women in the learning zone.
Mini Rugby Values
Fun. Active. Respect.
Mini rugby players represent a possible future for the club and the sport, but the focus of mini rugby is on Fun, Involvement and Activity. Over a 6 year period, these rugby players develop foundational skills through playing the game.
